HOLOGRAVURE
PROCESS
--------------------------------
|
Ready
to progress ...
Five
minutes to do that ... with these
three Hologravure patterns I downloaded
on the site: www.science-and-design.com
... and a traditional 2D photography.
When
you save the patterns in your computer,
use a new "file
name" beginning by the
number of pattern written on the page
...
in
that case, use:
388
|
388_yourname.gif |
389
|
389_yourname.gif |
390
|
390_yourname.gif |
|
|
|
|
|
|
What's
going on when this particular design
is printed using Hologravure process?
...
The
part on the right (in blue) and the
photographies are printed as usual:
in 2D.
The
part on the left (simulated using
Hologravure patterns) is printed in
3D: with a virtual depth.
What's
depth? ...
Click
the patterns 388-389-390.
Then, have a look to the description
of 3D of the reference image.
And
imagine your design in 3D Hologravure
... as described in the example.
|
|
|
But
this is not like LENTICULAR 3D ...
You're
right. (see lesson 1)
HOLOGRAVURE
IS A TECHNOLOGY OF
DESIGN, 3D design.
It's not a technology of traditional
3D. Can you see the difference?...
Not really?...
Then,
click the following page ... (lesson

Do not forget that HOLOGRAVURE
is a NEW 3D TECHNOLOGY very
different from Lenticular technology. It's a design
3D technology and not only
a 3D technology.
All
these Hologravure patterns are 3D patterns visible
when the design (or the rough) is printed using Hologravure
process (with various planes and depths or foregrounds
from 0.5 to 10 cm (sometimes more) printed in conventional
printing, occasionally volume and space too.
Remember
that 3D HOLOGRAVURE is a soft 3D, a design 3D ...
The specific nature of our 3D Hologravure Technology lies
in:
- The
creation of 3D color images, completely stable in space,
regardless of the angle of observation (no need to move
the image in order that it become 3D, as in a Hologram).
- No
image jumping, unless required (as in Lenticular images).
- Smooth
PVC, specially treated and of variable thickness and flexibility,
adapted to your activity.
- Large
format prints (a maximum of 65 cm x 85 cm available at
present, and possibly larger with optional equipment assembly)
produced at high speed (6,000 sheets an hour, in offset).
- The
possibility of increasing the number of spatial planes
(inside and outside the image).
- A
union between 2D and 3D on the same support and the insertion
of dynamic effects, visible when moving in front of the
image.
- The
possible integration of security codes, impossible to
forge, on 3D supports made out of PVC and on paper or
cardboard.
- Full
virtual designs using Hologravure process.
- Easy
manufacture of PVC supports "printed in 3D".
- Study
and research specifically for your activity.
- A
continuous innovation.
- Outstanding
graphic by-products.
- An
industrial production on a large scale.

|
|
|
| We
also print Lenticular technology: lenticular 3D, lenticular
with animation, composite pictures (Hologravure + lenticular)
on various mediums (rigid, semi-rigid, many flexible plastics,
etc.) ... |
|
